Hajstorp motorhome space & hostel

Hostel | Hajstorp locks are situated by Göta Canal and its old Lock Guard’s Cottage today houses a café and accommodation of both hotel and hostel standard. There are also 16 motorhome pitches with electricity available.

Motorhome Parking & Camping
The motorhome pitches cannot be pre-booked. Once you arrive, choose an available spot and pay at Hajstorp Lock Café. There, you will receive a service card that gives you access to the "Hajstorp Lock Café & Hostel" service building. Emptying of grey water and latrine is included in the price.

Hostel "Smeden´s House"
Smeden (The Blacksmith) is named after the old blacksmith who worked at Hajstorp Lock along the Göta Canal. The house has been renovated and retains an old-fashioned char, with wallpaper from early 1900s.

Smeden offers four double rooms: two on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is a large kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and kitchen utensils, as well as two toilets (one with a shower and handicapped access). The common area on the floor includes a TV, books, and games.

There are several things to discover in Hajstorp. If you're interested in crafts, you can visit the shop. Hantverkarna kring kanalen (Craftspeople around the Canal). If you're win the mood for a snack, stop by Hajstorp Lock Café. Or why not take lovely walk and watch the boats go through the locks.
